Unfollower detection: catch members who unfollow you and penalize them

Neutrino+ Unfollowers detection screen

Followers you get through Neutrino+ are real members who followed you for a reward. Most stay. A few try to cheat: follow, collect the crystals, unfollow a day later. Unfollower detection exists so that this does not pay.

What the app checks

Every member who followed you through the app is remembered as a suspect for 14 days. During that time you can run a check: the app goes through the list and compares it with your current followers. Anyone who is no longer following shows up as found.

The Unfollowers detection screen: checked, found, suspects

The counters on the screen are simple: Checked is how many suspects have been compared so far, Found is how many of them unfollowed. The suspects list (the button at the bottom) shows everyone still within the 14-day window.

What happens to an unfollower

When the check finds someone, you can punish them. The unfollower loses Energy, the second currency in the app, and you receive it.

Energy matters because the app does not let a member with negative Energy do the things that cost crystals: creating orders, entering TOP, making crystal transfers. To get back above zero they have to restore Energy, and that costs crystals. In other words, unfollowing is more expensive than staying.

What you get out of it

The Energy you collect from penalties is not just a number. Exchange it for crystals in the app and spend them the usual way, for example on more time in TOP for your account or a bookmark. The members who tried to cheat you end up paying for your next promotion.

How to use it well

  • Run a check a day or two after an order completes, and once more near the end of the two weeks.
  • Check all your accounts: every account in Multi-account has its own suspects list.
  • Do not worry about people who were never a suspect. The check only looks at followers who came through the app, not at your whole follower list.
  • "Nobody to punish" is the result you want. It means every member kept their side of the deal.
